As a rule of thumb: C15 for blinding and levelling layers, C25 for foundations and ground-floor slabs in residential construction, C30 for suspended slabs, beams, columns and driveways, and C35–C40 for commercial structures, roads and heavy-duty floors. Always confirm the grade against your engineer's drawings — the required class is stated there, and it is what your approvals are based on. If you are unsure, send us the drawings and we will advise free of charge.

Multiply length × width × thickness of the element, all in metres. Example: a floor slab of 10 m × 8 m at 0.15 m thickness needs 10 × 8 × 0.15 = 12 m³. We recommend ordering around 5% extra to cover uneven formwork and spillage — running short mid-pour is far more expensive than a small surplus.

A standard mixer truck carries roughly 6 to 8 m³ depending on the vehicle. Larger pours are supplied through planned truck rotation, so fresh concrete keeps arriving as your crew places it — that is part of our scheduled delivery service.

For standard pours we recommend booking 2–3 working days ahead; large or continuous pours should be planned earlier so we can reserve trucks and pumping capacity. Short-notice orders are possible subject to the production schedule — call or WhatsApp us and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.

Four things matter most: a clear access route for the mixer truck (firm ground, sufficient width and overhead clearance), formwork and reinforcement fully ready and checked by your engineer, enough crew on site to place and finish the concrete, and water available for tools and curing. If access is difficult, tell us in advance — that is usually solved with line pumping.

Yes. With line pumping the mixer truck stays at the road and the concrete travels through a pipeline directly to the pour point — through gates, around buildings or up to upper floors. We assess the routing during a free pre-pour site visit.

Yes. Our pumping service works with concrete from any source, on your schedule, with the same operator and pipeline crew on every job.

Concrete sets within hours but gains strength over weeks. As a guide: foot traffic after roughly 24–48 hours, formwork removal only as your engineer directs, and the design strength of the grade is reached at 28 days. Keep the surface moist during the first days — proper curing is the cheapest way to protect the strength you paid for.
